‘It would be a waste to go back home now so why don’t we have dinner ourselves?’ Aidan asked.

I wanted to say yes because I haven’t eaten anything since lunch. Work hours ended at 5:00 by the time I came home and got ready I didn’t have enough time to eat.

‘I’d love to but I didn’t think I’ll need my credit card so I didn’t bring it’. I said. I was going to put off my hunger till after the meeting.
