Chapter 8 "The Rumors"

Right now, I can't pout and need to suck it up, so I did that, and I shook my head, kept my head held high, pushed the door open, walked inside the school, and walked to my next doom.-Oh, I meant my next class for today.

"Damn, you heard?" Willow walked by some students talking, but she only heard part of their communication. I kept walking by and going to my next class before I was late. I don't want to be in more trouble today than I already am.

I shook my head and lifted the strap on my bag so it didn't fall off and get between my feet and trip me, and it would struggle, and I would fall and land on my face. So, I have been careful, and I mean cautious, not to get in someone's way so I don't get on their radar with their cruelness towards me.

Once I looked up at the clock on the wall, I saw I had three minutes to get to my next class. Behind, I heard the second bell rung. I want to avoid detention on my first day back from school.
