They dragged me slowly out of the place while my heart continued to pound hard against my chest as though it was going to burst through.

I wondered why he stopped doing what he was doing. "What happened to him back there?" The thoughts were beyond my natural reasoning.

But whatever it was, I was grateful that he didn't go beyond that.

There was a lot that I had to find out in the pack house and whatever it was, I was going to make sure that it was in my favor.

I was thrown into the cell and the door was shut closely behind me. But I ran as fast as I could towards the iron bars and I held them tightly, trying to rip them apart with my bare hands but it was not working.
