Alpha Derek's POV

Flash Back

Heart racing, sweat dripping, I laid in that thick forest, lost in the thick woods with an injury in my legs.

How I got there was a story that I had blanked away from my mind for so long, not wanting to bring back the memories of it

Then the strange girl came strolling in the forest. With her beautiful voice, smallish body and her swinging grace.

I could still remember those soft words of hers as she bound my wounds and stared right into my eyes.
