Chapter 8

My scalp numb. These bloody eyes are sure a monsters! But the thought that they are bad guys somehow relieve me from the numbness.

“It's better to have them as a bad guy,” my thought as I slowly turn away. “My mom and dad told me about the bad guys, perhaps they are these monster-looking in the darkness. Grandmom guard the city for this kind of monster!”

I feel the certainty upon the thought. The red dots has a distant, and I just look back as if they are some sort of strange species. I just glad to have the possibility that the bad guy is really the monster in the dark. And not the people populate the city!

With that, I open the freeze with a relief in my face. I muttering, “What's store in here must be yummy....”

But my world crumbled, my relieve go away. My mouth hung open as I staggered backward, my heart boom miserably. It skip a beat, and I thought I was cut off from even feel a thing. It's so shocking what's inside the freezer.

“This...” I want to scream but my voice don't dare
