Chapter 16

I come to my senses in his back. At first I'm confuse to what just happen. Then my eyes widen, said accusingly, “Have you done something on me?”

He stop and looking back sideways, said in a deep tone, “Quite, will you?”

“What?” My mouth halfly open, unable to process what he meant. Did I just done something wrong? I just trying to understand what just happening!

Then it hit me, the feeling of familiarity when my skin touch in his skin. I can't understand the beating of my heart after, I'm supposed to be threatened. Yet, I feel safe while lying in his back.

“Weird,” I said almost a whisper.

“Tsk,” he continued to walk through the darkness. He fall to silence after, as if thinking deeply. I can feel his heart beating so fast, and I gulped to the absurdity of this all. But shameless as I am, I can only rest my head in his shoulder, trying to think something.
