Chapter 16

Elijah,

I groaned softly, then I threw my head above my face when I felt the sunlight bright through my closed eyes.

I tried to go back to sleep, but then I felt a soft movement beside me and I tensed up. I have forgotten about last night. When the hell did I fall asleep without even putting my mask back on?

I opened my eyes slowly looking around, then beside me and found Angela was still asleep, but her hands and legs are outside the covers and she was sprawled like a starfish on the bed.

My eyes moved slowly and landed on Willow’s peaceful face, and I winced silently when I remembered the shit I have done last night.

I have cried like a little kid in front of her, sniffling and wailing. I was so ashamed of myself that I wanted to jump out the window.

But then I narrowed my eyes at her and found her breathing quickly, which indicated that she was awake, and I pulled the covers up to hide half of my face.
