"Giselle, you should work on your skills. After me, you are the only healer this pack has. If you kept acting like a kid then ...."

Before the old man could complete what he was going to say, the girl stood up and smiled brightly at her teacher.

"I promise I will try to pay more attention on the study but can I go now. John must be waiting for me."

She smiled as she spoke informing the man about their future alpha.

The man could only sigh after hearing her promise for the nth time.

"Fine, you can go but are you sure about this. We healers...." He could nit complete what he was going to say because the girl ran out of the room. He looked at her running away.

"I wish all my fears are useless and you live a happy life." A sad smile appeared on his lips as he remembered the past.

Giselle was born as an omega but a healer and that was the reason that she did not see the real faces of the people here in this pack.

She did not know who her mother was as she died after giving birth to her. Her father also betrayed her daughter and left after his mate as living without a mate was too painful was him. The alpha of the pack was happy to have another healer which was born after seventy five years.

Because she was healer and was special, the alpha's son was in love with her. They were together for two years and no one has objection on it.

Giselle stopped in front of the room that belonged to John and tried to catch her breath before she put her hand on the handle and pushed the door open. But the scene in front of her was enough to make her froze at her place.

Her boyfriend that always told her that he would wait for her until he becomes the alpha was making out with her best friend. Her nest friend that would tease her about her being the future Luna, that friend that would patch things up whenever they had a fight.

"Giselle, do not trust anyone. No one is sincere with a healer. They will tell us their pain and we treat them. There is nothing else that can happen between a healer and a wolf. We are useless to them."

She remembered what her teacher would tell her but she always ignored him because she trusted John.

Her eyes blurred and she could feel her hands trembling as the two people still did not notice her.

She lost all the strength to move away from the door but at the same time Bella found her standing in the door and froze before she pushed John away who was confused at first but seeing her expressions, he turned and found Giselle standing in the door frame with red eyes.

"Giselle...this is not what you are thinking."

He tried to walk towards her but Giselle turned and ran away.

"Giselle stop."

She heard them calling her but right now she was not in her right mind. She felt betrayed and angry.

She ran and ran until her legs were sore and lost its strength to carry her away.

She stopped and rubbed her eyes as she screamed loudly to let her inner anger out.

Did not that man said that he loved her? Did not that man promised her that he will never cheat on her.

But he was an alpha and alphas never think from their brain but the lower part of their body.

She sat down and cried until she had no tears left.

"He said he can explain. Explain what? That he was only cleaning her teeth with his tongue."

Her eyes again filled with warm water and she lifted her hand to slap herself.

"You deserve this. You really deserve this."

She felt angry over herself because it was her who thought that she can run from her fate. John was nit her mate but he always promised her that he only wanted her but now he was with her best friend Bella.

"Bella, I could not believe this."

She wiped her eyes and stood up only to realize that she was not aware of the place she was in.

It was already midnight and the forest looked familiar to her but in front of her was a house made up of glass.

She felt thirsty after crying for hours so she thought for few seconds and then walked towards the house.

She rang the bell even though she could feel something strange about this place.

"Why I never saw this before?"

She slowly pushed the door and the door opened without making a sound.

Giselle entered the house as she looked around but there was no one inside neither she heard a voice.

"Hello.

Anyone in there.

I just need some water. Can I get some?"

She spoke in high tine but only her voice echoed in the house. It felt like the house was empty from years.

She turned to leave the house when her eyes fell on the table which had a strange looking glass vase with water in it.

She quickly walked towards it and filled it with water and drank some.

"I don't even want to live now. What should I do? I don't want to go back."

Her thoughts were getting polluted and she had no hope. Being betrayed like this, she only wanted to die as now she had no ambition to live.

"It's better to die than to live this embarrassing life."

She out the glass down and turned back but to only froze at her place.

There was a monster looking man standing behind her with a stern expressions on his face. He was wearing ancient clothes and his face was red and scary with two horns on his head making Giselle scream with fear.
