RED EYES TELL ME THERE ARE BOUND TO BE BLOODSHED

SHE walked cautiously through the open space, her torch out as she quickly scanned the room. Taking her head up she gawked delightedly turning in a little circle before looking up at the glass roof. Interrupted by strong curve metal all meeting at the center. The glass was made beautiful and colorful, covered in mythical creatures, all of which glimmered dully at the lack of sunlight. "Whoa" she exclaimed underneath her breath, beside the entrance and the large door up front, the room was covered in large windows and stack of benches dragged over to the right and left of the building. The floor was covered in dirt and many windows had been long shattered. The room was really large and it took her over seven minutes to trudge it. The beast follows behind, quiet and sensitive and she wondered what he could be so tense about. She turns to the large door in front of her and climbed the flight of stairs.

She stepped up to the community assembly room door, looking back at the large room below. "Whatever you trapped here has probably gotten away" Iva hissed as she pulled out her gun.

"Impossible" The beast replied and stared straight at the large door. The door before her had no lock and neither did the entrance door, clearly anyone who isn't dumb could escape. She rolled her eyes at him , then she scrunched her face, Nothing so far had had a rational explanation, for one she was speaking with a real life werewolf, there was many sense if the said werewolf had placed a barrier over the place but from what she knew, Werewolves were not magic users. Iva had read so much on fantasy creatures when she was much younger, she would occasionally see them in movies and all her curiosity about the magic world was all influenced by stories her father had filled her head with. For one, his lore were genuine, stepping into the Court proved it, her father had spoken about this place to her but although she wanted to explore the Court, somewhere in her five senses had told her to doubt the existences of mythic, that try were nothing but myths.

The door before her spanned 8feet tall and four yards wide. Covered in strange patterns was the floor of the large room. The beast then informs her that he'd scout the back of the building and agreeing to it, she watched as he walked off. She turns back to the door wondering if agreeing was a good idea.

Reaching toward the large metal handle on the right side of the large doors, she pulled at the impossible weight. A sudden creek caused her eyes to glared wildly as the left side opened. She spun immediately at the door only to met the stare of a fine young man in his early 20s, his face pale, cheek hollow, having white scruffy mullet, a white dress shirt stained in dried blood, and skinny jeans. His brown boots dated to the 17s or 19s style but were chic, His eyes were ruby red with a gold ring caging his sclera. He was a lean 6 ft 1 with exceptionally long limbs that suit him. Her eyes wandered beyond him to the room he stepped out of and she met an unidentified female body in cold blood.

Blood drained she tore her eyes away from the scene but before she could speak, he fell into a crouch and sprang at her. His head slammed painfully into her middle, the slam forced air out her lungs as she came tumbling down the stairs.

Adrenaline flared in her veins as well as agony from the fall, she rolled to a stop on the floor, her bones aching about as she tried to curb the situation. Iva hurriedly dragged herself away from the approaching threat, she had lost her gun during her fall leaving her defenseless. “Another monster?” she had failed to handle the previous and had only got lucky with the beast but here was another, praying dearly that she’d make it before the beast realized, she tried to call out but she fell into a stutter of what to call out for. “be- beas-“. She thinned her lips, she couldn’t call help from the Werewolf, she was a cop, for one she had no idea whose side he was on, if this was a plan to get rid of her…

The gold in his eyes glowed, his expression lustful and his teeth gleamed in delight. White sharp fangs glinted at the side and the blood drained from her face as she registered. Pale skin, strange eyes, sharp canines. "Shit!" she hissed and scrabbled on all four for a run. But with impossible speed as though he had teleported, the vampire was nose to nose with her in a crouch.

His right arm strength gripped her left upper arm, impossibly pinning her and restraining movement. "I'm sorry lassie, I hope you survive this" his tone sounded guilty but his face didn't. He pushed her to the floor, taking a large amount of air from her lungs, and sprawled over her. Iva noticed his roving eyes, he was breathing hard but not from exertion. She was breathing hard, trying to wrench free from his grip on her wrist, her kicks were pointless to him. "I'm so so sorry, please don't resent me...”. Staring at the hand he held, he took his tongue over it, his breath hot, warm breath caused her to shiver and she threw her free arm at him, but he immediately grabs it as well and stared at her neck.

"get off me!" she yelled, and he looked up sharply as though he would obediently do so but then he came down to the crook of her neck. Hot breath tingled her skin as she struggled. “A vampire? would I become one too? would I die?”. And then she felt a sting.

"Ah!" she muffled as his teeth sank deeper and his mouth closed around her neck. She felt her blood and energy rush out of her body and she stopped struggling. Her breath began to slow as she was dying, Iva tried to twitch, make a sound but they came out stiffly. She could feel her blood leave her and tears pooled in her eyes as she began to lose consciousness.

The vampire flew abruptly off her but all in muffled, he hit the wall at the right end of the large hall. She couldn't move at all so she just stared in the direction he had been flung. Then the beast stepped in front of her, eyes fixed on the vampire as he stood energized and angry. 'So he didn't run off huh?' she thought hazily. In his attempt to attack, Iva holds on to his boot, though weakly, the beast felt it.

Silver eyes stared viscously at her, teeth bared and canines at full display. Iva gestured towards her right pocket and tried to say "cuff-f-f-him-cu-ff-f-f" He hesitated and then looks down at her pocket. He then yanked the cuffs out of her belt and ran for the vampire. Iva watched the beast boot go and go until it all came blur and then black.

She wakes up in an empty room with two men sitting on the floor, One in cuffs and the other idly staring at her. She had to commend herself for keeping her composure every time she saw their faces. ‘hostile wolf, bizarre vampire', maybe she wasn’t keeping composure but had completely lost it, plunged into the world of crazy, she lost Devin but for one she found Draco and so far he was doing a hell of good job saving her butt. She should’ve been grateful but she was cautious, fright stricken. She didn’t trust him all that much but right now she was glad he was here. The two would save her subconscious by constantly appearing in their human form, well until she found Devin and had nothing to do with this place. She smiled weakly at the silver eyes that watched her and said.

"What's your name?"

"I don't have one," the beast said and walked away from her. She frowned confused at him.

"Draco-Samson," the vampire said pointing towards the beast, and the werewolf hissed and turned enraged at the vampire.

"do you wish for death?" the vampire smiled grimly and sticks out his tongue and pants in the yearning motion of a dog. And Iva turned towards Draco.

"sure doggy, I'll get some blood out of you while we're at it" Draco stepped towards the vampire, hands clenched and teeth bared. They were like animals, which isn't far from what they were to be exact. Instinct-driven beast.

"Back off!" she yelled placing a handout and gesturing at them. "Walk away Draco" She stared at Draco finally getting his name, silence met her as he glared, she kept her ground and he lifts his chin and walks away.

"The mighty Draco-Samson finally got a tamer" the vampire continued to blab on to annoy the beast.

"Anyways! how am I still alive" Iva-Lois asked, recalling the vampire drinking out her blood.

"I'm sorry about that love, You got healed by your shaman here" The vampire points a Draco-Samson and Iva's looks, he had helped her a time before when she was attacked by a vampire, She wondered about the hidden secrets the werewolf held.
