Sonnet chuckled and said, “Have you asked Granny York if she’ll allow you to take the kitten in? If she doesn’t mind, I definitely wouldn’t mind either.”

“Granny doesn’t mind. We can take the little kitty in!” Lune clapped and leapt up in joy.

Sonnet chatted with Sophia for a while. She then handed her an envelope and said, “Aunt York, you must accept this money. Otherwise, I’ll feel bad leaving my children here with you.”

Sophia rejected the envelope several times, but Sonnet kept insisting that she accept it. While both of them were pushing the envelope around, Lindy came back from work.

She walked into the house and took off her shoes while talking to someone else on the phone. “What?! Five days? That’s way too little time! We need to look for a place to stay. How can we find a place to stay so easily?!”

Once she hung up on the call, Sonnet immediately asked her, “What’s wrong?”
