As we got into the gates of my aunt's house, I could hear muffled cries coming from upstairs as I came out of the car.My aunt's house wasn't a mansion but the inside was wonderful . She was one of those low-key millionaires that didn't like attention.
Even with all the money flowing in she was still a typical Yoruba woman . Her husband was a sailor only comes home in six months time , stays for only 2 months and goes back to work.
As I went inside the house , the chandelier beamed with light as the muffled cries became louder, as I rushed into my aunt's room as I saw her holding a belt as my cousin was on the floor crying .
