Amelia
I wake up to a smell of after shave, my eyelids open but suddenly I'm met with a wet, draining—hot body. He just came out of the bathroom, but his body was—Damn!!It sparkled, dripping with water as his taut abs looking edible. I could squirm. He notices soon enough how I look at him, I started to long.“So you've been awake.”“I just woke up.” I lied turning my head over to the other side. “I know you're lying.” “I'm not lying.” I defended myself. Vance looked so edible and beautiful. His broad chest was the least of my worries because my attention was fully on his abs. How that body could do so many things to me.Choke me maybe?“You don't need to day dream about me.” His voice snaps me out of my thoughts.“Hell, no I'm not!”“Mimi—you don't have to lie about it. I saw your eyes on my waist.” I turned my face and meet him standing with crossed arms on his chest—the bulge of his arms.“I'm not lying.” He comes close to me, watching me closely. My pink blush creeping up my cheeks. “I know when someone lies to me, and you are doing just that Mimi.” Hearing my name roll out of his mouth—my chest beats so fast. The way he threatened with his eyes, the smell of his manly aftershave, the way he called my name.“I need to go.” “The door is right in front of you.” “Yes,” was all i could say as I stood up headed for the door. “Oh and Mimi— “ He called making me turn“You should watch your step this time. We don't want our bride to hurt herself.” He laughed comfortable with his stupid jokes.I hurried off to my room and dialed my bestfriend's number. My phone was beeping with notifications of my seemingly wedding. There was no way I was going to get married to Ramon Lawson—no way.“Hey.” My bestfriend's voice resounded on the other end.“I need to stop this engagement.” was all I could say.“It's everywhere now Mimi, the press won't let a juciy news as this die down.”“I know but I just—I need to stop it. My dad's doing the same thing he did with my sister. I don't want that for myself.” “I know. Come out to our favorite restaurant—maybe we could talk about all of this?” “I don't know Cassie. I feel so choked up—“And I'm here for you.” she completed.“I need to let my dad know he can't control me like this.”“Have you tried speaking to Ramon? Maybe he too doesn't want this marriage. You guys could come to an agreement.”“He wants this marriage Cassie—he does. If he didn't the f***ker would have called it off a long time ago.”“True.”“I just need some fresh air—time to think.”“Whenever you are ready—you know where to find me.” My bestfriend said with the most supportive voice ever. I've been friends with Cassie from childhood. She was there after what happened to my mother. Cassie has basically been the only friend i have—my inability to be sociable catches up with me alot. No one really wants a trauma and mentally unstable girl as their friend, would they? People always want to perfect daughter of Mr Barry Reynolds—the perfect Mimi and maybe i don't want to be the perfect Mimi anymore.******I stood on the road side waiting for Ramon Lawson to meet me exactly where we discussed after the last message i sent to him about meeting him personally. I had to go alone, so the chauffeur left hours ago. It was a lonely, dark street —it was the only quiet place I could find in the whole whole New York to escape the press or people taking pictures.I checked mu phone again—no message from him. I sent another reminder message. The breeze was f***king cold today, my short skirt and half exposed top didn't do enough justice.“Hey, pretty lady!” A strange man passed, his body wet. My arms went round my body as a means and protection not until a group of men approach me. One of them sniff me like a dog, reeking of sweat and cheap beer.“You look good darling” he said trying trying touch my rear end.“Excuse me sir.” I try leaving but get blocked when all of them form a circle around me. “We just want to talk pretty lady.” “We can talk if you just let me pass sir.” i said. The one that looked like their leading grabs me—forcefully. This place was quiet, no one was here but i tried shouting but the five men were way stronger than i was.“You look like one of those h***s that strip at the bar down the road—you should st**p for us too. “ He said.“No—let me go.” I pushed through but it was of no use because i couldn't see the road itself because of their large bodies. I close my eyes but it tries to adjust to the pair of headlights that immediately come on—directed at me. The person drove recklessly, dividing the circle the men had around me.“Hey—watch it man!” one of the men shouted. Vance came out of the car in the black leather suit, revealing his chest region. His black hair sleeked back and had his hands on his button—he looked comfortable.“Here isn't ths right place for a gang bang!” he shouted to the man, moving forward.“You don't own the streets man, I do what I want.” the leader responded“Yes but certainly not here—look at the girl, holding definitely wants to go to a room to get it on.”“Just shutup and mind your business.” the leader responded“If you would stop harassing girls.” Vance replied with a punch straight to the guys face bursting his lip from the contact. “What the f**k!Get him boys.” It was punches —sprains and blows flying around. Vance broke one part of their body, it was so cool. I feel like a princess and him my prince charming. The last guy fell to the floor like a vegetable and all of them ran off.Vance walked to me, “You know you shouldn't be out here all alone at night!” He rose his voice—felt like and scolding.“Don't tell me what I can or cannot do.” “Fuck—Amelia. What if they really did something to you? What if I wasn't here?”“But now you're here and nothing happened.”“Fuck it! Why do you get so angry every time?” Our faces match each others. His eyes were filled with anger and a little bit of worry—I think.“You are not allowed to be around these places at this time.”“For the last time—don't tell me what I can and can't do. I'm not a kid.”“You're 22, what do you know?” That's it—I've had enough of this. Enough of him! I'm 22 and I'm a f***king adult.I start walking, passing the direction of his car.“Where are you going? Amelia!” He called my name but I'm not going to listen. I'm not! He just saved me and i felt all sorts of things—the ache in my stomach, the vibration that ran through my legs and all he did was reprimand me after calling me a kid. I won't!“Amelia!” His ran, catching up with me.“What the f**k do you think you're doing?” “I don't know Vance—maybe you should tell me since I don't know what to do. I'm a baby that needs feeding. Tell me!”“Why are you so stubborn!”“Why do you treat me like I'm 15?! Like I'm still a child? I'm not Vance—I'm not.” “Do you think I liked it when I saw those men touch you? Do you really want to know how I felt? I wanted to cut their fingers one by one for f***king touching you.” his words come out—leaving me in shock.“Why does the way they touch me bother you so much?” I wanted to hear it. I really wanted to hear him say something—something a part of me is hoping to hear.Amelia“You're too young to be here at this time.” he said, making me scoff. I continue walking down hoping to see a taxi anytime soon.“Amelia, where the f**k do you think you're going?”“I'm going home.”“You're going home, without a car?”“I don't need one. I could get a taxi or book an uber.” I said searching for my phone when I realised those dickheads stole it without me looking.“ S**t—they took my phone.”“Come on—I'll drive you home.”“No” I disagree “Amelia stop being so f***king stubborn and get into the car.” I turn on my heels walking He catches up to me—holding my arm and pausing my steps.“It's 11pm Amelia and you think it's good to walk all by your f**king self?!”“Vance, you're not my father and you don't have any control over me. So rest assured I will walk home by myself. I don't need help from an egotistical mammal.”“Fine. You want to walk alone, I won't stop you.” he said and walked back to his car. I didn't need a lift from him. I didn't need him at all! He a
ÀmeliaThe groan that escapes his lips is low and guttural as he itches his face closer to mine—cupping my cheeks in his hands. I was drained by shock but also a little possibility of wanting to kiss him? No, you hate him Mimi—my subconscious said with my eyes closed. His hands slid from my cheeks and onto the seat belt, checking if it's in place before placing his hands in the wheel.“Uhm..” I said .“Uhm what?” “I thought—” I trailed off “You thought what?” My silence gave me up and he immediately started laughing at me. He laughed so hard, his smile wide this time. I've never seen him laugh like this.“You thought I would kiss you?” “I didn't think that.” I tried to hide my shame. Oh my word! “Ofcourse you did.” He continued laughing.“Well…yeah, didn't you?” I asked. He paused, looking at me for a moment before saying, “I would rather kiss a horse.” What the fuck?! No, he just compared me to a horse. An animal!! Seriously, is no one seeing the rudeness of this man?“I don't
AmeliaI was home alone today, Evans was here too. Dad was out for some business stuff and the helpers—well they were not in sight. This is the perfect time to set my test in motion. Seduction—phase 1. Urghhh, saying it like that felt like I was doing something wrong.I knocked on his door and he opened in a flash.“Hii”He gouged me, trying to see if something was okay.“What?”“Why are you in front of my room door?” he questioned.“I was passing…I wanted to ask if you would like some cookies. I'm about to bake some.”“No.” He swiftly said and was about to close the door.“Come on, I'm trying to be nice.”“That's the thing, you're never nice.”“But I can be.”“Not to me.” He said “Come on, some cookies and milk won't do you any harm.”“Amelia, I'm a 40 year old man. I don't take milk and cookies.” He sternly said.I rolled my eyes before responding, “No wonder you are so grumpy—you never take a day off.” “Can I go into my room now?” He asked without waiting for a reply and shut th
AmeliaFor once I wanted to atleast forget about this whole marriage thing, just completely forget. Today I was having dinner with Ramon—my supposed husband-to-be. I watch them smile, Ramon and his father as they chatted with my Dad. Dad lived for this moment. His greed blindly him.“Ah, there she is. Come my sweet.” Ofcourse he would be so nice to me because he is finally getting what he wanted through me. I sit beside Ramon and instantly feel disgusted.“She hasn't changed a bit. Still the same beautiful Amelia.” Ramon’s father, Mr Rajid said.“She has become a woman.” Dad loudly spoke and laughed.“You know when I told Ramon about the engagement he was elated.” Rajid eyed Ramon. Ramon however, didn't give that look of feeling elated at all. His head was to the food and I see his eyes trail our chef—we have the best chef actually. This dinner is simply the worst.*****“Phase one didn't work” I tell Cassie on the phone.“Well, on to phase two.” she happily mentioned.“Cassie, I c
EvansI had to quickly get home to relax, after the scene Amelia pulled in the board room. Even if she was my bestfriend's daughter, I hated her guts. She annoyed the f*ck out of me but thanks to my self control.Soon enough, I caught a glimpse of what she wore. That yellow dress, it was Amelia's. She looked like she was struggling to get off his grip.No Evans, just leave. My subconscious said.I pass the aisle but soon enough, I see myself going back again.I take the bat in my back seat, using it on his head.“Who the f*ck are you!” The guy shouted in my face and I give him a punch—breaking his nose.“I also don't want to be here, it's mutual.” I said and give him another blow. He was no match for me because he was on the floor in seconds.****Amelia slept soundly in my car, I wasn't going to take her up—not with my bestfriend at home. I drive straight to my apartment in no time she's soundly asleep on my bed.30 minutes later…“What is this place?” I hear her voice and turn away
AmeliaToday was the day I choose my dress for the engagement. My wedding engagement. “Mimi, you've been in there for a long time now.” Cassie called.I walked out, in my 24th dress choice. “I don't want to do this.” I said“I know girl, but you have no other option.” “If I could just look for a way to get out of this whole marriage thing.”“Unfortunately, there is none. If you had a rich boyfriend like Ramon in your life. You wouldn't have to deal with all this arrangement.” Cassie said.“That's it! Omg Cassie you're a genius.” “I know I am but what'd I do?” She gave me one of those beautiful smile of hers.“I should find myself a rich boyfriend! Someone with more influence compared to Ramon’s or my father's.”“Mimi, your engagement is in 2 days. How are you going to find that ‘perfect’ man?” “That's why we have the Internet. Come on Cassie, keep up!” ****“We've been searching for hours, there's no one with that much of influence.” Cassie whined.“So I'm stuck with this marria
AmeliaEvans didn't come home after this. It didn't bother my father but it bothered me, he wasn't taking any of my calls and we needed to take pictures and release them on the Internet. The engagement ceremony was tonight. “Where are you?” I asked Evans through the phone. After calling all day, he finally decided to answer. “I've been working.” “You need to meet me. We have something important.”“My work is more important Amelia.”“Mimi, you can call me Mimi.” He said nothing at his end. “Please. Remember, you promised to help”“And I haven't signed the papers yet.” “Meet me at PremiumDelu” ******He did come, but this time better. His blonde hair was gelled back, exposing his chiselled face and painted nose. How could I forget how beautiful my father's bestfriend is…how sometimes I wish he could be mine. His leather tux didn't do justice in hiding his large arms. The shirt almost looked small cause this man was wide!He ushered me into the car, it felt like one of those aest
AmeliaThe drive back home was quiet, no one spoke. Someone needed to break the ice.“I'm sorry if I pressured you into doing it.”“Okay.”“I promise it won't happen again.”“Okay.” He repeated.“I said I'm sorry.”“Okay.” He acknowledged.“Just Okay?”“You need me to say more?” He asked.“Yes I do.” “Amelia, there's nothing left to say.” He concluded and came to a stop in front of the gate. I couldn't step out of the rain, I was scared too. “I'm really sorry Evans.” “Okay.” “Enough of the okays!” I said in frustration. I couldn't take another one of his Okay. “You can get down.”“I can't.” I responded “Why?” “I'm…I don't like it when it rains.” “No one does, there's an umbrella you can take.” “No…I'm..I”“You're scared?”“Yes.” He breathes in and out before responding, “Get out of the car Amelia.” and with that he drives off.I stand, face to face with my gate. The security wasn't there. No one was. Just a dark night under the rain. Again. I remember her cries. I tried to w
