I had originally vowed to kill whoever was responsible for the attack on my mate and threats against my pups. Then we met Chloe and realized that she had just been a pawn in the entire thing too. I got the feeling that they had blackmailed her because I knew that she hated what they did and made her do.

“What did Alpha Dresher hold over you?” I asked her curiously.
