SEVENTEEN PART 2

A guttural growl erupted from deep within me, my anger directed straight at my father, the frustration and resentment boiling over. I had reached my limit, having endured enough from all of them, especially him.

"I'm done with you, old man," I declared fiercely, my words dripping with a mixture of defiance and pain. "I've pleaded, obeyed, and contorted myself to fit whatever mold you required of me. And for what? So you and your cronies could challenge me at the first hint of trouble?" My bitterness poured out as I spoke, my frustration palpable.

With those words of defiance still hanging in the air, I turned away from him, refusing to let his presence and betrayal consume me any longer. The weight of their expectations and demands had become unbearable, and I vowed to break free from their suffocating hold.

"And now, turning to you," I gestured fiercely towards Gabriel, still lounging nonchalantly in the corner, "you've dared to issue a challenge, so let's settle this right here an
