After Ralph took us to a room we heard Violet and him talking.

"They're wonderful kids," we hear Violet say

"Don't," Ralph said

"Don't what?" She asked

"Don't get attached to them tomorrow we have to call social services to come and collect these boys they can't stay here," he said making me and Cody look at each other

"But you heard them they only go to another abusive household why can't they just stay here?" She asked

"Because we just started our family we can't bring two strangers into our lives," he yelled I stood up and grabbed our bags
