"Let's keep going" Nicholas heaves, tired from all the fighting. After some nitwit hearing that they have a safe place, the lot of them tried to follow, asking to come with, but Nicholas, acting as a leader, refuses to risk the lives of his companions. Strangers are a threat, and this doctor is enough.

Where could Janoir be? Cerise keeps asking herself, head spinning from all the thoughts and the tiring walk. Sal tries to distract her but talking is taking so much out of her that the hollow takes it as a sign to shut up.

"Janoir could be back at his house," Nicholas states, earning himself a questioning look from Halo and Cerise.

"Why would he go there when he knows the way to the underground house?"

"I mean his actual house," Nicholas pauses, reminices the happenings that occurred in that damned place. "the mansion,"

Cerise quietly slows down, her guess might be right. Janoir might have come for his sister.

The thought of spending the next
