FATE BOUND
Author: Priscilla

~One~

"Thud!!!!!!!!"there was a loud sound on Zenia's car bonnet that scared the hell out of her. She quickly alighted from her car, wanting to know what made that sound, since she had been involved in a traffic jam for almost an hour.

As she walked further to the anterior part of her car, she sighted a figure on her bonnet, precisely a human figure.

Her heart skipped a beat and her eyes widened in shock. Where the hell did the person come from? She tried tapping the person to know if he or she had died or was still alive. Nervously, she inched closer to touch the person but instead, the figure rolled off the bonnet and fell to the tarred ground.

She jerked back in fear and figured it was best she ran away upon seeing how injured the person looked. The person was a male and blood seeped out from his wound on his face. He wore black all through and his unique look didn't go unnoticed by Zenia.

Probably it was one of those hoodlums who got into a fight and rather ended up on her car miserably but the looks of him was so outstanding. Even with the injuries on his face, it was so vague.

Pouted lips, long lashes that were really weird for a guy, a very unique pointed nose and his very well tinted hair that was silver. She really had to kudos the hairstylist that had his hair done. The silver colour was so unique.

     "Honk! Honk!"

She snapped out of her world of admiration immediately as she heard the car horn.

The driver of the car behind hers poked out his head through his car window and he yelled huskily"Hey! Miss, get your fucking car out of the road. Are you insane!". His face had turned red from anger.

Her eyes widened, pissed by his very insultive words and she yelled back at him, "You should get your head fixed up! Don't you see a dying human here?!" she retorted.

Atimes she could be a no nonsense woman.

The husky driver suddenly was mute, seeing how tough she looked and she let out a smug expression before turning back to the strange and bleeding human on the ground. Carefully, she checked his pulse and she was glad she still felt it.

She lazily, dragged him and put him into her car's back seat and just when she raised her head, she saw a long queue of cars behind her's and the ones in front of her were long gone. The traffic jam must have subsided. Her ear was filled with car horns and aggressive drivers yelling at her to get her car off the road.

She quickly got into her car, ignited the engine and zoomed off not wanting to hear more insults. She drove to a hospital hurriedly  since she had a meeting to attend at her office and she was already late. But still, she couldn't let the poor human die. The best she could do was to drop him off at the hospital and never see him again.

Once she arrived at the nearest hospital she could get to, she got down from the car and on opening the back door she couldn't see nor find the injured human again.

She furrowed her brows in confusion, she twitched her eyes in shock. Did he disappear? She was sure she put him right in the car, or, did he fall out the car? What the hell happened?

She raked her hand through her hair fustratingly and sighed. It was indeed strange that he was no longer in the car. She tried to comprehend what was going on but nothing seemed to make sense and the next minute she laughed out loud. Maybe that husky driver was right. She was indeed crazy. That should be the perfect explanation for what was going on.

She heard her phone ring and she grudgingly took it out from her trouser pocket and accepted the call

"Where the hell are you Zenia?!"it was Klara.

"I'm sorry, I got mixed up in a situation. I will be with you shortly "she face palmed herself and quickly got back into her car.

Whoever that strange human was and how he left her car was something she would never forget.

"You are always late Zenia!"yelled Klara as she ignited her engine.

"That's why I am always grateful!"she grunted then, ended the call. She was in no mood for Klara's chides.

       SOMEWHERE IN OTTAWA

A figure crawled into the woods in pain, his whole body aching and his pulse slowly decreasing. He laid on the ground while steadying his hitched breath as he allowed himself get healed and let his body supress all the pain he felt.

"Taynor! You shouldn't be this way!"

He snapped his heads towards the voice he heard and it's was his brother, Leo.  His eyes darkened wondering how his brother was able to follow him to this strange land which was earth.

"How did you find me Leo?!"His authoritative voice echoed in the wood. His golden eyes that seemed like it could emmit fire any second stared sharply at Leo.

" You should have let that girl save you"Leo cooed not minding his question.

He sat up on the ground since he was finally regaining his energy and his wounds had all healed up.

    "Were you watching me?"he asked.

"How do you think I found you?!"Leo rolled his eyes "C'mon we have to leave here"he stated.

"I'm going back!"stated Taynor stubbornly as he stood up.

"We've been locked out. We can't go back!"came Leo's reply.

"Then, you have to find way Leo. I must go back. We can't be stuck here!"complained Taynor more like he was commanding.

"There's nothing I can do. Besides brother, this is the safest place for you now. Trying to turn human is so irresponsible of you!"
