Strange, but Familiar

Dante POV

The world stopped almost the second I laid eyes on the young maiden right before me. There was something about her that pulled me close, but I couldn't lay hands to it. At her left hand, I noticed a dagger and it was apparent she was up to no good. Her pale body, coupled with her long nails gave me the hint that she was a witch.

"What do you want from me?" I pulled my riffles and aimed it directly at her. She had her hands up in the air, her eyes still holding signs of recognition.

"What is strange is that I have seen you before and this scene several times." Her statement caught me off guard. I perfectly understood the fact that witches were magical creatures, but I never knew they could speak parables as well.

"What are you talking about." She was about to explain, when a bright light flashed across the tunnel, almost blinding my vision.

"Good Job Mr. Taylor, we will take it from here." Adjusting my eyesight to the light, several men had surrounded the tunnel, all with riff
