He followed the sound and quietly hid behind a tree. He saw a man in his twenties clasping the sides of his head, seemingly in pain. Harvey knew that it was the result of successfully resisting and escaping the fog that actually protects the Dark Forest from any intruders.

That fog was considered dangerous and deadly as it causes one to see his inner demons and deepest, darkest secrets a person would kept locked away in his heart - and those can cause a person to die. Die from his dark secrets, die from his sins, die in such a terrible way that inflects no injuries on the body.
