Chapter Twelve- Book Two

Mitchell (POV)

I cannot believe it has finally happened. I am so happy I can’t wipe the smile off my face. My mate is sitting beside me, and we are heading home. Home. Kellie’s and my home.

To celebrate we went out and grabbed a bite of dinner. At the restaurant, everyone kept talking about Callie the dragon and hoped to be the next to see it flying in the air. The tv above the bar kept playing videos over and over.

Kellie leaned towards me. “I don’t think at this rate we need to fly Callie again. We should wait it out then begin phase two.” She whispered for my ears only.

By phase two she is meaning slowly letting that proverbial cat out of the bag and begin letting someone see it was all a hoax.

“We will discuss it when we get back with my brothers,” I whispered back. “But we need to let this go on for a bit before we do that. It will be more believable when they discover it was all a huge hoax.”

Kellie nodded, “I agree.”

I take her hand in mine and kiss it smiling, “You ready to go
