When Bruce finally finished, May could barely move. Her whole body ached, and her head spun. It felt like her lungs had stopped working because no matter how hard she tried to breathe, there was no air.
The sound of a phone ringing echoed through the room.
Bruce jumped out of bed and walked towards the table. Without covering his still naked bulky body, Bruce picked up the phone and answered.
"Yes?" he said to whoever was on the other end of the line. After waiting for a moment, he replied, "Alright... I understand... I'll do it."
After hanging up the phone, Bruce turned back and grinned at May.
"It must be my lucky day, May," he said while walking back to the bed. "The man who owns this hotel likes you, and he's going to offer your worthless husband a deal he can't refuse. It means you'll probably stay here longer, and I'll have a chance to see you again. More freedom this time without Sean's rules."
“What?” May asked with a coarse voice.
Bruce climbed back into bed and stared at May’s naked body for a moment.
“You really are pretty,” he said before reaching one of May’s breasts and palming it. “Too bad your tits are too small, if not, you will be perfect.”
May couldn't muster any more replies. Tears and her ability to fight had been drained throughout the night. She didn't have the strength to do anything. As Bruce continued to grab and pinch, she slowly lost consciousness.
Stone woke up with the sunlight shining on his face. It seemed that he forgot to close the curtains last night.
There were a few things he needed to take care of today before he could deal with Sean. That guy was like a thorn under the skin. Even though it didn't make him bleed, it was still irritating if left unchecked. Perhaps he would do it after he meets with Nikolai Belosokov later today.
After brushing his teeth and washing his face, Stone walked down the hallway to the spacious room he had turned into a home gym for some exercise. The glass walls on one side of the room displayed an incredibly breathtaking view of the ocean. Stone felt like he could stay in that room forever just to admire the ocean.
After lifting weights and finishing with an hour of running on the treadmill, Stone was sweaty and thirsty. Carrying the towel he used to wipe his wet chest, Stone walked downstairs to get some water.
Just as he reached for a water bottle from the fridge, a woman with blonde hair walked in.
"Oh, hello," she greeted while stepping closer. Her tight thin top traced the lines of her firm breasts. Wearing only panties, Stone could see her slender legs.
The woman's eyes moved to observe Stone before her full lips formed a smile.
"How many handsome men live in this house?" she asked while giggling.
Ignoring the woman’s presence and question, Stone opened the water bottle.
She stepped closer and ran her fingers along one of the large bear tattoos on Stone's chest.
"And what's the meaning of this bear tattoo on your chest?"
Stone took a sip of his water and didn't answer.
As if not seeing Stone's indifference at all or refusing to believe that Stone wasn't interested, the woman ran her hand all over Stone's chest while biting her lip seductively.
“Stop touching me.” Stone finally pushed the woman's hand away.
"Hey!" she exclaimed while staring at Stone with an angry look. "There's no need to be rude. I was just trying to be friendly."
"I'm not your friend, and I'm not interested in cheap women."
The woman's eyes widened, but before she could reply, Jet rushed in.
"Hey..., you... uh...," Jet said to the woman as if trying to remember something.
After a few awkward seconds of silence, Jet added, "Baby," informing Stone that Jet seemed to have forgotten the woman's name. "Didn't I tell you to wait in the room? I can get you whatever you want."
The woman shrugged her shoulders.
"I got bored waiting alone in the room," she replied with a pouty lip.
"Fine," Jet said, pulling the woman's hand and pushing her out of the dining room. "I'll be back in the room after this. Just wait for me there."
Jet slapped the woman's bottom as she walked out which caused her to scream shrilly before running back to the room giggling.
"Don't tell me you're planning to let her stay here all day, Jet," Stone said after the woman disappeared back into Jet's room.
Jet scratched his hair which wasn’t itchy.
"Yeah... well... I thought she'd leave last night after we were done. I didn't think she'd still be here this morning. Don't worry, I'll kick her out."
"Please do it as soon as possible," Stone replied with a grumpy face. "She seems cheap and flirty. You need to be more careful in your choices."
"I know," Jet said with a smirk. "Isn’t that what makes them interesting? One more round, and I'll kick her out after that. Promise."
Stone shook his head as Jet walked back to his room. At only 24 years old, Stone understood how hot-blooded Jet was. Despite often being reckless and appearing rough, Jet's loyalty to him didn't need to be questioned. That's why he entrusted a lot to Jet.
After showering and changing clothes, Stone went back downstairs and was quite satisfied to find that Jet's blond woman had already left.
There were only two men at the dining table now, sitting and grinning while Martha prepared breakfast.
"Good morning, Martha," Stone greeted his housekeeper as she handed him a cup of coffee.
"Good morning, Mr. Black," she replied.
"Did you and Molly enjoy your vacation?"
"Yes, Mr. Black. Although, if I may be honest, a week is too long for a vacation. I couldn't wait to come home."
"Well, we're all glad you're back," Stone said, smiling at the middle-aged woman. No matter how many times he told Martha to call him by his name, she refused and insisted on calling him by his formal title.
Molly, on the other hand, was the opposite. The 25-year-old woman walked in with a laundry basket in hand and a wide grin on her bright face.
"Oh! Hey, Stone," she greeted with a wide smile on her cheerful face. "Did you miss me with no one bothering you for a week?"
"Mr. Black, Molly," Martha reminded, waving the spatula she held towards her daughter.
Molly rolled her eyes at Stone.
"Did you miss me, Mister... Black?" Molly repeated her question with emphasis on Stone's last name before turning to her mother. "We've known each other since I was in diapers, Ma. He doesn't mind me calling him by his name. So why are you making such a big deal out of this?"
"Doesn’t matter if you two have known each other for a long time," Martha replied firmly. "He is still your boss, and you will be polite when speaking to him."
Molly sighed and glanced briefly at Angelo. The blush on Molly's cheeks solved the mystery of why Angelo didn't bring anyone from the club last night. It seemed like he was occupied with Molly.
Stone raised his eyebrows at Angelo just to let him know he knew what was going on but didn't say anything. At least not in front of Martha. If she had a problem with Molly calling him by his name, she would definitely have an issue with her daughter being involved with one of his men.
Angelo just grimaced, scratching his neck as he looked at Stone's gaze.
Martha placed three large plates on the table, which were immediately grabbed by Angelo and Jet, who were already hungry.
Stone sat himself in the empty chair next to Angelo and grabbed the last plate on the table.
While finishing his breakfast, Stone received a message that made his eyebrows furrow.
"What's wrong?" Angelo, noticing Stone's change in expression, asked.
"Sean canceled his deal about his wife and said that he is gonna pay all of his debt plus interest," Stone replied, still staring at his phone screen.
"That's good, isn't it?" Jet chimed in from across the table. "Money is more useful than women. We don't need to worry about that Kettler worm and his wife anymore. We can use that money for our new strip club construction. I heard Nikolai Belosokov is building some near the border. Money seems to flow easily from that sector. Are you still meeting him this afternoon?"
"Yes."
Stone put his phone back in his pocket. Even though he had some plan with Sean’s wife, maybe Jet was right. It was good that Sean canceled this agreement. As he said, with his position now at the top, all he wanted was stability and peace. There was no need to complicate things with thinking about that snow-skinned woman. May Kettler was no longer his concern.
May blinked several times as she finally regained consciousness. She found herself in a small windowless room with bright lights overhead. Squinting, she turned to the side and saw a small bathroom near the bed she was lying on and a tiny wardrobe next to it.It took a few seconds before May remembered what had just happened to her.Bruce! As the realization hit her, she jerked upright and grew more panicked when she realized she was still wearing nothing under the blanket. Her sudden movement triggered a wave of pain throughout her body, causing her to groan."Thank God she's still alive." A low feminine voice came from the corner of the room. "Welcome back, May."May immediately pulled the blanket to her chest and held it tightly as she turned towards the source of the voice.By the door sat a woman on a chair, smiling broadly at her."W-who are you?" May asked hoarsely."I am the one who is responsible for this place. You can call me Madame Jade," the woman replied with a low seduc
Nikolai has invited Stone to have lunch at a restaurant located in the middle of the Belosokov power district. As a sign of trust and to honor their peace agreement, Stone agreed and came alone.Stone arrived at the restaurant around noon. After handing over the keys to his black Porsche to the valet working in front of the restaurant, he went inside. While buttoning his jacket, Stone told the receptionist who he was there to meet and followed the woman to one of the tables in the corner of the restaurant."Stone," Nikolai said, standing up and extending his hand for a handshake. "Good to see you again."Stone shook Nikolai's hand and sat down. He ordered a glass of water and coffee when the server came to take their order."How have you been, Nikolai?" Stone asked, observing the man. Nikolai looked the same as when he last saw him. Around 40s, the man appeared fit and healthy, with a few hard lines around his brown eyes."I've been well," he answered. "And you? I heard you recently bo
Same as yesterday, May still refuses to eat.Kamila's coaxing only succeeds in getting May to drink juice and milk until Madame Jade arrives late in the evening with an angry face."So you're refusing to eat?" the woman said, her voice louder than usual. "Fine, don't eat then!"She grabbed the dinner tray from the table and threw it across the room. The sound of breaking bowls and plates echoed in the room, causing May to shiver even more. She edged away, clutching the blanket to her chest like a shield against Madame Jade's anger. But Madame Jade roughly pulled the blanket from May and threw it to the floor."Now, get up!" the woman snapped. "Eating or not, you will start working tonight."While May tried to hold back her tears, Madame Jade walked over to the wardrobe in the room and rummaged through its contents. She grabbed one of the lingerie and then threw it at May's face."Put that thing and fix your hair. Apply some makeup to cover your swollen face. I don’t want my customers
Stone was enjoying his dinner at the dining table when his phone buzzed. He pulled his phone out of his pocket while Molly, who was standing beside Angelo, was enthusiastically talking about the discounts she found while shopping at the supermarket today. With one hand, Stone unlocked the phone screen while his other held his fork with a piece of meat on it.A new email notification appeared. From Nikolai, with the subject line reading, 'Who knows, you might change your mind.'Recalling their conversation a week ago during lunch, Stone could guess the contents of the email even before opening it. That guy must have sent pictures of women at his precious brothel.Scrolling through the screen, Stone examined the photos of the young women within. Each with different types and backgrounds, accompanied by bios and other irrelevant information like breast size and height.Stone shook his head and was about to turn off his phone when suddenly something made him stop.On the screen, no bigger
"Please help me, Sir. I beg of you, don’t leave me here," May whispered into the man's ear.Ignoring Madame Jade, who was now screaming for the guards, the man looked at May with his blue eyes for a moment before asking, "Do you want me to get you out of here?"May knew she should be scared. The tattoos covering the man's neck and arms should have told her that the man was dangerous, but the kindness and concern that she saw in his eyes were the anchor that kept her courage intact."Yes," May replied. “Get me out of this place.”From the corner of her eye, she could see two guards now angrily marching towards them."Please," May added, panic gripping her once again. "Don’t leave me. Take me with you.""You won't like what I'm going to do to get you out," the man replied."I don't care," May answered in one breath. "I'll do anything you want. Just— Just don't leave me here."May was willing to take the chance. She
Stone drove his car at a moderate speed even when there were not any traffic in front of them. He didn’t want to attract attention. He also didn't want to scare the woman sitting beside him. The woman sitting next to him was looking out the window, watching the streets that they were passing by with wild eyes. From the reflection of the car’s window, Stone could see her pale face. She was still trembling like a dry leaf in the wind, and Stone feared she would faint if she continued like this. While keeping an eye on the side mirror to make sure no one was following his car, Stone pulled out his phone to called one of his men. "We have a problem," Stone said as soon as Angelo picked up. "Did you find her? Is the woman at the Starlight Hotel?" Angelo inquired. Stone glanced briefly at May as he drove northward and entered his territory. "Yes," Stone replied. "She can hardly walk and is bruised as if she just came out of a boxing ring. I have no choice." Stone heard Angelo sigh be
Stone’s rottweiler dog, Otis, sniffed attentively at the unfamiliar scent left by May on her owner's hands while the man recounted what had happened to Jet."Wait a minute," Jet said after Stone finished. "So you're planning to marry Sean’s wife? Are you serious?"“She’s not married to Sean anymore.”Jet furrowed his brow, staring at Stone as if he had lost his goddamn mind.Stone sighed. Maybe Jet was right. Maybe he had indeed lost his mind. Who knows.Stone reached into his suit pocket and retrieved a pack of cigarettes. He pulled one and slipped it between his lips before continuing."I understand your surprise." The unlit cigarette moved along with Stone's spoken words. "But I can't just leave her there. She begged me to help her. I can't just turn around and walk away."Stone took out his lighter and used it to ignite his cigarette."Marrying her is the only way to save her," Stone said, taking a deep drag of his cigarette without hesitation. "You know yourself that Nikolai won'
"Oh, yes!" the reverend exclaimed, clapping his hands. "Congratulations to our happy couple! I can feel your love flowing thick in the cold night air."Everyone now turned to look at the reverend with a furrowed brow. When no one responded, the reverend’s smile faded, and he coughed awkwardly."Wow," Jet murmured, rolling his eyes following the awkward silence in the room.Stone shifted his gaze back to May when he felt her fingers brush against his."I can hold it myself, Stone," May said, reaching for the cold towel in his hand.Stone reluctantly let go but still didn't take his eyes off May. He felt like he would forever be unwilling and unable to look away from her."Uhm... So...." The reverend cleared his throat again. "Are we waiting for anyone else? If not, we can start the ceremony."May stood and placed the ice bag she was holding on the table. She then looked down at her robe."Sorry if I am just wearing a bathrobe," she said, her face reddening and her eyes welling up again
