I couldn't defy the Alpha's order

Jayden’s POV

I angrily push away the grasses in my path, as I search the forest for Jovita.

When I finished my conversation with Jade and returned to the group, I was informed that she had left, and Seth had followed her. How sweet.

My hands are balled to a fist, and I'm ready to smash his face on the nearest tree if I see him lay even his fingertips on her.

Jade had just informed me that my father and the counsel wanted me back home with Eric. It was their second order, and I knew in a short while, the third would come. I couldn't defy the third. I couldn't defy the Alpha's order.

Eric and I had finally told the white brothers about our departure. They were saddened but agreed to let us go only after we promised to return.

Eric and Betty were back together. She probably came back to her senses, and after a great deal of pleading, Eric decided to give her a chance, and now they would have to part soon. She didn't take the news happily, but she promised to keep in touch.
