Do you have a death wish?

I check my leather wristwatch for the third time. My besties are almost thirty minutes late, and I'm getting irritated. Maddie had asked us to meet at our favourite restaurant, the Queens, for a nice lunch, and to catch up on the latest happenings.

I wasn't really in the mood to leave my house, but Maddie would not hear of it. I kinda woke up in a very bad mood.

Jayden woke up and apologized for yesterday's argument, and for returning so late, but he won't still talk. What's wrong with him? Why does he have nightmares?

I want answers to these questions, but I can't get them. He won't talk and I won't ask, because I'm ignored each time I ask.

I'm getting quite frustrated with this whole thing. I'm not sure how long I can keep up with this.

Jayden and I have not yet mated, so we don't share the mate bond which means I could still reject him as my Alpha, and he could reject me too. I hoped it would never come to that, but at this rate, I might just quit.
