Chapter 19

A chilly breeze blew through the window, I shuddered closing it shut. I noticed something... Or should I say somethings...... moving.... no, running in the woods. I got scared for a second there but then shrugged it off. Maybe its just some wild cats running around chasing some nocturnal bats, I thought. Those thoughts were immediately shattered when several forceful bangs on the door rippled through the house.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

''I'm coming! I'm coming!.... The door is not made of metal you know!'' I shouted toppling down the wooden stairs. I cringed at how loud the noise got.

'' Hold your horses, I'm here....Gosh!''

I hastenly swung the door wide open. I was met face to face with a very tired looking guy. His hair was dump, he reeked of sweat. I crunched my nose sizing him up and down. He wore a black, body hugging short-sleeved shirt. The front of it was ripped by what looked like claws. I gasped the wounds were fresh.
