CHAPTER 25

I stood there staring at the elders as they looked so sure of themselves.

I leaned against the door, staring at each and every one of them. They all didn’t flinch, they didn’t seem intimidated at all. And I was going to have to change that.

“None of you have Alpha blood.” I said.

“That doesn’t matter. We know what’s best for this pack. We have lived here our whole lives.” Caleb said.

“Right. So have I. In the packhouse. Around the Alpha. In fact, when he died at the hands of vampires, his Alpha power had to go somewhere. And where do you think that power went?” I asked, watching them all as they all started to squirm. As they started to sweat and buckle at the knees. As they started to feel the pressure and pain of the Alpha aura being pushed upon them from my body.

I knew that they were elderly, which means I didn’t go too hard on them. I let up the Alpha aura when I was sure that they knew what point I was trying to get across.
