TWO

They were walking down the street as the warm breeze, flowing, was swaying their clothes along with. That area was a neglected one as that's why only few street lights were working. Even those were blinking time to time. The night wasn't theirs as the moon was hiding behind the clouds, denying guarding on them.

Their steps were fast and shivering as it was late at night and they didn't know where fate was guiding them. Aunt Samiya was holding Ara's hand in her cold one. Ara's other hand was grabbing the suitcase firmly as it was all she had under authority.

They were walking towards the bus stop as they couldn't find any taxi. Moreover, they couldn't afford one at that time. The wind was warm but still their breathings coming out were cold.

"We can't walk all the way there." Aunt said as she was breathing heavily, a sign of senescence.

"You should take a rest. Sit here." Ara let her sit on the elevated ramp of a closed shop as Aunt Samiya sat with her back rested against the glass wall. Ara contemplated for a second before walking away to grab a water bottle from any nearby vending machine. Aunt Samiya just nodded her head as she let her go.

Ara's heart was thumping loudly as she never came outside in such a dark. She always used to go to go to school with Sarah as before reaching school Sarah always wanted her to enter after fifteen minutes because she was embarrassed of her. Seeing them entering together would provoke students to talk about their relation with each other and Sarah despised her.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard an incoherent noise coming from the dark alley as if someone was trying to scream but the voice was muffled. Ara followed the voice as if her heart wasn't beating in her throat. She reached the edge of the alley only to find a black SUV standing in the middle of the alley hiding its hideousness. There were two men standing with their back facing Ara. The hues of smoke coming out of the car indicating someone was sitting in the car, while smoking as the air in that congested alley was filled with its smell.

Ara's glance fell on a foot in derby shoes clad with a shiner as they were glistering in the dark too. It was placed on the rocky floor as the door was open showing the sight of the man's lower left leg only as he was enjoying the show by sitting there through an open door of his car.

The warm wind was rustling the leaves along with the litter at the corner of the alley. There wasn't any street light here that made Ara to squeeze her in a narrow slit for a better vision.

Ara took a step forward as she took another step forward only to shriek in horror. There was a man lying in front of the two men, blood-soaked. His face was barely recognizable as incoherent noises coming out of his mouth.

She immediately covered her mouth when two men turned towards her. They got alert as the derby shoe was still in its place. Her eyes widened as she got their attention.

She shouldn't be here at the first place. It was true to never follow the noises you hear in the night especially when you are alone. She glanced at the men then the lifeless body and then she glanced at him looking directly through the slit of the open door and that act of her was the terrible mistake.

The thing that made her spine shudder was the eyes she just glanced for mini-second in the car before running away from there. Dark Black eyes! She would not be able to forget them for a long time.

Ara was running as she didn't dare to look back. She in few seconds reached aunt Samiya who was talking to a woman with a scowl on her face.

"God forbid." She heard Aunt saying as the woman, barely wearing clothes, glanced at Ara, who was breathing unevenly, top to bottom as if she could see her through the clothes.

"Your daughter has a nice body. Why don't you send her to me for a job and get some money?" The woman was old with cakey makeup on her face.

"Shut up. Let's go Ara." Aunt said as she took Ara's hand in hers and walked away with long strides. Ara looked back at that woman still looking at her with her evil smirk. She had the feeling that she wasn't meeting her for the last time.

"I think that's a taxi coming?" Aunt Samiya released her hold on Ara's hands when she saw two segments of lights shining from afar. The car came near as Aunt Samiya moved forward making Ara's eyes widened.

The car was coming at full speed and Aunt Samiya was approaching it. She thought the car would stop seeing her but it didn't, as instead of pulling off the breaks the car took a sharp turn. Ara realized that the car wasn't a taxi as her vision was blind with the sharp lights causing her to cover her eyes but it was too late.

He was lighting another smoke when one of his guards came with a steady heartbeat. He reached him as he placed the cigarette in between his dark plum lips. His dark black eyes were fixed on the platinum lighter as he brought it near the tip of his cigarette. One flick of his dark raven hairs was touching his eyebrow of his left side.

He threw the lighter away on the side taking a puff as it landed on the black coat he must be wearing before coming here with his black button up shirt. The whole car was filled with smoke as everyone knew that their cruel boss was addicted to cruel things.

"Let's go. We have to deal with the Vipers tomorrow." His cold monotonous voice echoed in the car as he took another puff of his cigarette.

"But that girl..." The guard was saying as one glance from made him to shut his mouth. They were still in that alley as most of their work was done.

"I don't have time to take care of these small things. Let's go." He said as everyone got inside their respective cars when a Porsche stopped in front of their cars with a screeching sound. A man wearing a white button up shirt came out of it with a proud smile on his face as he reached him to glance through the rolled down window.

"Woh woh...you have done your job pretty well hn!" Emir said glancing at the lifeless body lying on the ground indicating how miserably he had died. " Tamam Tamam.(okay okay)" He said raising both of his hands as he earned a glare from him. He knew that was his job but he couldn't come because of his personal chores in which he was quite busy these days.

"I know you are Gareth Blade who isn't afraid of anything but you should be careful. A girl has seen you." Emir was from Turkey as he bought some shares in Gareth's company but indulged himself in mafia too as it fascinated him to became his right hand man.

"I don't give a f*ck about that girl so do your work. All the information he has given to me is in this recorder." Gareth threw the recorder followed by the shutting of doors as the car's engine roared. They all left leaving Emir and his men there to take care of the body.

The car was moving towards its destination when as Gareth's eyes were fixed on the trees passing by. The cigarette was placed between his fingers as he was deep in his thoughts. Someone was consuming his mind with a little sight. He closed his eyes to remember as a call interrupted him causing him to clench his jaws.

"What?" He picked up the phone grinding his teeth as the next thing was his groan as he hung up on massaging his forehead with his thumb and forefinger.

"To the hospital." He ordered while crushing his cigarette in the ash tray as the driver nodded his head in obedience.
