Chapter Twenty

The grip on my hands that he instilled while he dragged me mercilessly across the hall downstairs was causing a bruise. He was using a little of his power and yet he almost crushed my hand.

The look in his eyes when I slapped him told me enough that I had, unfortunately, unlocked his demonic side. For the past few days, he was quite normal, I suppose. Ever since he came back from the orphanage, his aura changed completely. What in the world triggered him?

As he dragged me, I tried to ring out of his grip but it was no use. I had no idea where he was taking me. The hallway that led to the garage had lots of mirrors that showed him taking me down. If he had taken me from one of the other corridors I could have asked Dante for help.

They were still in the drawing room.

After the garage, he took me to a dark hallway, passing by the red room to a huge coffee-cushioned door. He stopped there and kicked open which revealed a room.

Not a room, it was a torture cell.
