Chapter 13

The man named Raymond chuckled mischievously. “Who do you think it is?”

“Cut the nonsense. Who is it?”

“Your good nephew, Victor Cornwell.”

Screech!

The car screeched to a stop all of a sudden.

The screech shocked Raymond. He immediately asked, “Hey, Thaddeus! Thaddeus? Are you alright? Don’t do anything stupid!”

“I have to go.”

Irritated, Thaddeus pulled the Bluetooth earpiece off his ear and tossed it to the side.

He stepped on the acceleration pedal and made a sharp U-turn back to his family house.

It was dinner time at Fontaine Residence, and the family was welcoming a guest with open arms.

“Victor, now that you’re back from the UK, you’re going to stay for good, right?”

Master Fontaine looked at his handsome and young grandson with the kindest look and warmest smile.

Victor nodded respectfully. “Yes, grandfather. I’m settling down, and I believe our great city will be a good place to expand my career.”
