I was waiting for Gabe to come to pick me. Why do I keep agreeing to this? And why would I agree after this morning? I don’t know what I am doing anymore. I swear the incredible sex we have shared has messed with my brain. Tonight though, it was only dinner. No sex, no drinks, just food and conversation. I am keeping my self-control tonight.

I had kept myself casual. I don’t need to tempt him in any way. I had skinny jeans, heels, a tee, and a cardigan over the top. My hair was in a ponytail, and my makeup light.

Right on time, there was a knock at my door. I grabbed my bag and went out. I don’t need him to come into my apartment; being alone somewhere private is not suitable for us.
