Save Us From Our Fate

Tyler had his eyes opened for what is only but a few seconds. With only but one word and breath left in him, he could only utter my name. He has now fallen back asleep and has not moved since.

I don’t know how much he had heard of what was said, it breaks my heart that our marriage is falling apart over secrets that I should have never kept from him from the start.

So I am left here with nothing but my thoughts.

With that, I sit back into the chair and let her close her eyes to rest. The edginess inside me is killing me, so I take a nearby piece of paper and scribble down my thoughts.
