DIANNA

The music box was filling the emptiness in my heart and my small house. It was the melody I never could get enough of. A cordial smile formed on my lips, waiting for my husband to come back home. He was taking a long time today and I wasn't blaming him. The local market was in rush today, he must be stuck somewhere. Small streets where people can't even walk, tiny stalls and shops make them even narrow to move and if vehicles pass by so it took people more than half an hour to get out of it including vehicles.

I just prayed he came back safely.

My chain of thoughts broke when the door opened after a small cracking sound of wood. I smiled, ear to ear. " As-salamu Alaykum. " I greeted him, who just entered. His scent filled the room our small heaven. A fresh scent of cheap soap, and fainted colors' but for me, it was rich and expensive.
