Karen smiled and pushed for a welcoming clap with her hands that soon got followed by the crowd.

Zayn watched Will walk up to the mic and despite his hands also joining in the appreciation, he stood completely clueless. Did they change the order of things?

He watched the unending flashes thrown in Will's direction and he couldn't feel any prouder. Will didn't give a flinch about them or the crowd staring at him. He had really grown stronger.

"Uhh," Will swallowed, his voice taking up the whole area that had gone silent in his presence. "Hello, everyone. I believe we all know why we're all gathered here tonight." he chuckled awkwardly and Zayn pursed his lips.

Did he speak too soon? Will looked like he was ready to disappear into thin air.

"So on that account, I just– wanted to say a few things about the boss."

Zayn's heart skipped excitedly. Will was going to talk about him? He didn't know why, but it made him feel giddy.

"It's been approximately a year since I started working as the
