CEO NOT FOR SALE

Chapter 1

"My darling, I will marry you to Paman Frego's son. This time, there will be no more objections or anything Mommy wants to hear. Remember that, Demitri. And in a week, there will be a family meeting, and you must come, or Mommy will be very angry with you!"

After banging the table, a middle-aged woman left the office of a man named Demitri. Watching her go, Demitri sighed heavily, his gaze displeased.

He had heard this threat many times. Almost every time since he turned 27, which meant he had been receiving the same threat from his mother for three years now.

"Why does everyone like the word 'marriage'? What's so great about getting married? Besides, all women are the same. All equally despicable. Damn it!" he muttered.

Pressing the intercom button on his desk, Demitri spoke, "Come into my office now, Pedro!"

Without waiting for a response from the other end, he quickly ended the call. Soon, a man named Pedro knocked on his office door and then entered to greet his boss.

Bowing, showing respect, Pedro asked, "Yes, sir, is there anything I can do for you?"

"We're leaving now. Ask Jacob to handle all my schedules and tasks for the next month. Cancel any meetings related to me!" he ordered.

Demitri stood up and reached for his black suit hanging on the back of his grand chair. He walked confidently past Pedro, his trusted aide who still appeared confused.

"Um, sir, but... Where are we going?" Pedro turned around, hurrying to catch up with Demitri's long strides.

"Don't talk too much!" snapped the boss, walking quickly out of the office towards the CEO's exclusive elevator. Demitri was the owner of the 35-story building.

Running to catch up with his boss, Pedro entered the elevator and immediately pressed the button for the first floor. "Are we going somewhere, sir?"

"Hmm," replied Demitri lazily.

"B-but, why is it taking so long, sir?"

Glancing at him, Demitri spoke in a very sarcastic and cold tone, "What's the point of having Jacob and Sherli? I pay them to work for me, right?"

Chuckling nervously, Pedro replied, "Y-yes, sir, you're right. We are paid to work. I-I will tell them both to take care of your work, sir."

"Good, if you understand!"

At that moment, the elevator doors opened. Boss and his right-hand man walked side by side through the lobby. Gossip started among the employees who whispered to each other.

"That's our boss. He's been showing up for a few months now. And the man behind him has been managing the company with his two secretaries."

Again, another woman chimed in, responding to her friend's comment. "So, he is our boss for real?" One woman nodded. "Oh my God, why does our boss hide himself? But is he even human? How can someone be so handsome?"

"I agree, the boss must not be human. He's a god. Look at his face, oh my God. If I had to choose between ten men or our boss, I'd definitely pick Mr. Demitri."

"Not just a lover, I'd even be willing to be his drinking buddy. I'd accompany him or just be his servant once," added another woman joining the gossip.

"But some say our boss is gay. Until now, he hasn't had a girlfriend. Not even close to any women."

"I don't believe he's gay. I'm sure our boss is a real man. Just the way he walks shows that he's truly macho. I don't believe it!"

And many more employees whispered and competed over their unrealistically perfect boss.

That was Demitri. Like an ancient Greek god, he had the perfection of a dream man. Irresistible. Though perfection was not created for humans, in reality, this man was truly... perfect.

Charming and handsome. Even men often envied his looks. Those who followed... the LGBT ideology also didn't want to be outdone by women, as they also desired Demitri.

But that was Demitri's nature. He unknowingly caused chaos wherever he went. If gods were real, maybe Demitri was that god. A god transformed into a man, handsome beyond compare.

With a mix of Asian-Finnish features, a well-built body with well-defined muscles, he had a proportional figure. It was no wonder that his handsome face and sexy body became a huge attraction.

Like an alive and unbeatable magnetic force of the Earth. His presence had truly hypnotized many women as well as men with his enchanting charisma.

It was evident when the female employees gazed at him with admiration and hopes as high as the Eiffel Tower, hoping to get close to him, even if just for one night.

"Bams, get the car ready. Mr. Demitri is in the lobby!" Pedro informed Demitri's driver through his cellphone.

"I'll be ready in two minutes, buddy," the man replied from the other end of the phone.

Not long after, Demitri and Pedro arrived at the lobby entrance, coinciding with Bams bringing out the latest BMW SUV car.

As Pedro opened the door for his boss, suddenly, a woman entered the car wearing a bridal dress. Then, she pulled Demitri into the car.

"Come on, quickly, drive!"

Demitri Geovanni Franklin joined the ranks of the wealthiest men in America with his company. He had two businesses, one in the food industry and the other in oil. The companies had branches all over America, and now, he was expanding his reach by venturing into Asia.

The Franklin company in the retail sector was not the only one owned by the Franklin family. There were several other companies under their umbrella, with the largest one being the Oil Company, personally owned by Demitri, which he had built from scratch to its current status.

Who didn't know Demitri's figure? He was often the center of business trends and consistently ranked first in the Most Handsome Face list, adored by women all over the world.

But behind the fame he had, Demitri always remained closed off to the outside world, especially when it came to love. Not many knew about his love life, and some media outlets even speculated that he might be gay.

Moreover, Demitri mostly befriended men and was rarely seen close to any woman, not even a single one. Because of this, Fanny, Demitri's mother and his only parent, often tried to arrange marriages for him with the daughters of her friends.

She hoped to find a woman who could tie Demitri down and erase the "gay" label, removing any blemish on the family's reputation. However, all of her attempts always failed because Demitri always managed to escape whenever a matchmaking was attempted.

His behavior often made Fanny furious, and she even resorted to hiring detectives to investigate her son's whereabouts. But Demitri's name was not Dimitri if he could be easily found when he ran away. He had an above-average IQ and was quite the master of evading detection, leaving even detectives struggling to catch up with him.
