I’d lived a peaceful and satisfactory life with my aunt and uncle, and even though they’d hidden me from everyone else, they showered me with affection and care which made living with them bearable despite being cut off from the outside world.

However, what I’d never had a taste of was affection as pure and unconditional as what Alpha Arnold had shown me in the last three days since I’d settled in at the palace in Crescent Valley. I’d been love bombed in ways I didn't know were possible by him, and despite it being a foreign experience, it was one I now welcomed heartily.
