Her expression was showing him pure panic and her breathing had grown labored.

"Are you saying that an old boyfriend… my ex-boyfriend is stalking me?"

"Yes, Amara. All the evidence that I've been able to come up with leads to Don Anderson."

He placed a comforting hand over hers, not surprised to find her skin cool and clammy.

"Baby, the restaurant… the note… This is showing us that he's getting bolder in his attempts, and you need to know who and what is threatening you."

"I don’t understand… Why is he threatening me? Why would he want to hurt me?"
