My gaze wandered far away at the innocent-looking face as it slept. After leaving Mr. O'Connor's office, I went nowhere but back to my room. Our room, mine and Axe's.

My breathing was ragged as I imagined the video dancing vividly in my head. Maybe I was feeling disappointed in my husband, but coming to him to explode, venting my frustration for him wasn't ethical in this state.

Why erupt anyway, if I can talk it out with a cool head? We're not kids anymore, or I should have thought too... it could have been Axe's momentary lapse of judgment due to the surrounding pressures-I wasn't around and he was having an argument with his father.

All in all, I'm guilty here too. Axe was right, if only I hadn't left him. He wouldn't have gone to the bar and ended up making a one-night stand. To the point where he now has a fever, caused by my anger at him yesterday.

"Get well soon," I said after crawling up the right side of the bed, where I'd laid down when we were in the same bed together.
