You are fired

Just as I was thinking of how to overpower my body and stop, Ryan suddenly stopped as if he read my mind. I looked at him with an inquisitive gaze while he took a deep breath as his head was buried in the nape of my neck.

“I would not mind having you right here, but you are not ready,” he said, and once he said this, he walked away like nothing had happened. Leaving me shocked and confused, but weirdly wanting more.

Due to my persistence, Ryan allowed me to use a pillow to demarcate the bed. I inwardly laughed at my hypocrisy, like I was not just about to sleep with Ryan some hours ago.

The lights were off, and we were ready to sleep.

“When are we leaving?” I asked him.

“So what was the point of coming here? We could just have stayed at your family hotel in the first place,” I said angrily as I cursed at his stupidity in my mind.

“I was right back then; you are stupid,” I whispered, but unfortunately, he still heard me.
