Ryan’s mansion

"That must be the person Ryan sent over,” I mumbled to myself when I heard my doorbell ring.

I grabbed my bag and made my way to the front door.

“Why is it you?” I asked with surprise and a slight anger in my eyes.

“You don't look very happy to see me, Eliza,” he said, with his hands in his pockets.

“Uhm.. no. I was just expecting a different person," Istammered, but he did not seem to care anymore as he turned around and walked back to his car.

“Tomorrow I will be taking you to the Blaqk family house,” Ryan said after a pregnant pause in the car on our way to his house. My eyes opened wide at his sudden statement, and I could not wait to object. Why did I have to meet the Blaqk family?

“Why?” I asked with unwillingness in my voice.

"It does not matter the circumstances in which we got married; we are still a married couple."

"Oh," I said disappointingly.
