Chapter 14 Took Him Down

We had a grand wedding. I was a stunner dressed in a white gown. The groom was handsome. Though disabled, he had a noble aura rarely seen around other men.

No longer regarding him as disabled after that forceful kick, I couldn't help but worry about the coming night.

I showered after the ceremony and scrolled through my phone on the couch. Our wedding hit headlines. In the photo, I was standing beside Cedric with a sweet smile while he was gazing at me affectionately.

A male netizen commented jokingly that I should've married him instead.

I down-voted his comment, put my phone away, and went to sleep in the guest room.

I had tasted love but not my final victory yet. It seemed more tempting to me. There came the sound of a wheelchair in the doorway, but soon it was gone. I breathed a sigh of relief and drifted off to sleep.

The next day, we went to visit Cedric's grandpa in the old mansion of the Miller family. Due to our marriage, he had given Cedric some of his late parents' assets.
