Six months later



"That will be all for today Mr. Angelis. You are really making progress and I am proud of that" Dr.Clark says closing his notebook after writing somethings in it.

I smile at him but it didn't reach my eyes as usual.

Dr. Clark,my therapist, says I am making progress but I don't see it. I don't think I ever will unless she is here with me.

I missed her so much that it hurts but I can do nothing about it because it is all my fault.

I pushed her away because I was afraid and now I want her back,she is gone. She left without looking back,and I respect that. She had to go for her own sanity,she had to heal from the pain I caused her.

She was right,we were toxic for each other. We needed time to be on our own and better ourselves.

My daughter has been my source of joy,my rebound since she left.

She stays with me during the weeks days and sometimes during the weekend. She takes away my worry for a while but immediately she leaves I fall back in the pity hole.
