"What? There's a lead on my husband's case?" Angelica's voice trembled. How incompetent of Thomas and Marcus.

"You don't sound happy, ma'am." The officer's voice came again on the phone.

Hiding her emotions was something she just couldn't do. She tried to put up a happy tone. "Of course, I am… uh.. just let me know whatever it is you find out."

"You can count on us, Mrs. Smith." The officer replied and ended the call.

Angelica walked out of her car.

'Curse you, Brown! You keep getting in my way… how dare you get ahead of me? He's my husband, allow me to handle this. Where the hell are you hiding, Renato.' Angelica thought. After getting him to sign the documents she wanted, her precious husband had gone missing, and she had to get ahead of Brown in looking for him or she might get exposed.

She walked into the casino and took her seat in the VIP area. While trying to place her bet, the croupier told her that she wasn't qualified to play.
