On getting there I heard some strange noise coming from my room. I ignored it and walked over to Alexia's room, which seemed like there was no one in there.

"Alexia?" I called, scanning the room. I walked to her bathroom and then back to the bedroom but didn't see her, so I decided to leave. I closed her door and turned. She could have stepped out or something.

Just as I was leaving, I heard some noise in my room, again. I had ignored it earlier, but it seems someone's in there.

I carefully walked close and placed my ear to hear if someone was actually there as my curiosity grew stronger.
