Neel left the room.
Overwhelmed with regret, Sara covered her face, realizing that her feelings for Neel had been a mistake. They had once been close friends in university, and she was initially drawn to his kind nature and good looks. When he expressed his love for her, she thought her dreams had come true. However, after their breakup, Neel's reaction was hurtful.
Sara had moved on, happily married and expecting a child with her husband. Her love for Yohan was deep and unwavering. She didn't want to dwell on the past or entertain the idea of being with Neel again.
Bruno Dixon stood outside the bedroom, eavesdropping on their conversation and feeling a newfound sense of fear. He wondered if Yohan Dixon knew about this.
Sara took a deep breath, knowing it wasn't the time to worry about Neel's ultimatum. She received a message on her phone, bringing her relief. She quickly composed herself, grabbed her purse, and left the villa.
Bruno Dixon watched her departure with a heavy sigh.
...
Sara Owen got out of her car and checked out the restaurant.
"Jack, I forgot to tell Aunt about this. Can you give her a call and let her know that I'm here to meet my friend Gracie?"
"Sure thing, Madam."
She hurried into the restaurant and scanned the place.
A couple was chilling on a couch near the window. Sara Owen hustled over to them.
"Hey, what's up? Why do you seem so tense?"
As soon as Gracie and Ryan Jenkins saw Sara, they jumped up from their seats. Gracie gave Sara a big hug and started crying.
"What's up, Gracie? What's the matter?"
Sara looked at Ryan Jenkins, who seemed uneasy and anxious. When she gave him a questioning look, he just shrugged his shoulders helplessly. Sara then looked back at Gracie and patted her on the back.
"Sit down, come on. Have some water."
Gracie gulped down some water and wiped her eyes after sitting down. Sara Owen looked at Ryan Jenkins, puzzled, then asked Gracie, “Did you two fight again?”
Gracie didn’t reply; Sara Owen let out a sigh and gave Ryan Jenkins a stern look.
“What did you two fight about now? When are you guys going to grow up? Ryan, spill it. Why is she crying?”
“You always take her side. It could be her fault too,” Ryan Jenkins grumbled.
Sara Owen turned to face Gracie. She knew Gracie had a fiery temper and that it was the root of most of their fights. But after seeing her friend cry like this, Sara Owen knew it was more serious than usual.
Sara Owen held Gracie's hand and whispered, "Hey, Don't freak me out, okay?"
Gracie looked at Sara Owen with tears in her eyes and said, "It's all his fault this time."
"What did he do? Don't worry, Yohan is not around to punish him, but I can." Sara Owen joked.
Gracie covered her face with her hands and sobbed. Sara Owen let out a sigh of despair.
"I'll tell you," Ryan Jenkins spoke up in a low voice, glancing at Sara Owen with uncertainty.
"She's pregnant," he said.
Sara Owen stared at the couple for a moment before breaking into a wide grin.
"Gracie! That's fantastic news!"
As soon as Gracie raised her tearful eyes and looked at Sara Owen, her smile froze.
“What happened? Aren’t you happy?” Sara Owen asked with concern.
“Who would be happy to be a mother without marriage?” Gracie replied, her voice shaking.
Sara was taken aback. "What are you talking about? The whole world knows you are Ryan's girlfriend."
"I'm just his girlfriend. I'm not his wife," Gracie said, wiping her tears.
Sara tried to console Gracie, "But both of you are engaged. Ryan has officially proposed to you. He will marry you."
Gracie shook her head, "When? After the baby is born?"
Sara was confused, "I don't understand why you're not happy with the child. It's a beautiful blessing."
Gracie looked up at Sara, "I know, but I always imagined having a child with a husband, not with a boyfriend."
Sara nodded, "I understand. But you have Ryan, and he loves you. He will be a great father, and you will make a wonderful mother."
Sara Owen cast a peek towards Ryan Jenkins, who was seated with his head bowed. “Ryan, did you refuse to marry? Aren’t you happy with the child?” Sara Owen asked.
Ryan Jenkins glanced at Gracie hatefully then said to Sara Owen, “If I am not happy with the child, I wouldn’t have stopped her from having an abortion.”
Sara Owen widened her eyes.
"Girl, why would you even consider killing an innocent baby? That's just not right."
"I know, Sara," Gracie sniffled, "but I don't want to be a single mom. I want Ryan to commit to me."
"Gracie, that's not the way to do it," Sara replied firmly. "You can't force someone to marry you just because you're carrying their child. Marriage should be a decision made out of love and commitment, not obligation."
Ryan Jenkins stayed quiet, avoiding eye contact with anyone.
"Sara, what should I do?" Gracie asked, looking up at her friend with desperation.
"We'll figure it out together," Sara reassured her, putting a comforting arm around her. "But for now, let's focus on taking care of that precious little life growing inside of you."
"I messed up, I know. But now, it is what it is. I am thrilled about becoming a dad and I’m gonna marry Gracie for sure. However, I told her that her mom is not well and now that she's pregnant, her mother needs her daughter's help more than ever. Gracie doesn't wanna leave her job, and she won't let me send a maid to help her out. And honestly, with all this going on, I don't think it's the right time for a big fancy wedding. It'll just add to her stress and burden."
“You want me to be your side piece or something?” Gracie glared at Ryan Jenkins.
To whoever's reading this, if you've read 'Hot Billionaire Daddy,' you'll recognize that this is its sequel. Newcomers, I suggest you read the first book to understand the story's foundation. Don't worry if you're confused; the first book clears things up. In this second part I have given a long pause in the entry of the main character Yohan Dixon. Which was needed in the twist of this story. I hope the second part will get more love than the first part got. It took me a lot of hard work and time to write and adapt it as per your choice. I have kept all my projects pending for months and concentrated only on this book. Sorry for making you wait for months. But after reading this book you will find that wait worth it. Thanks very much. :) :)
“What? No way! I've told you a million times that I'll take care of your mom and you don't have to work. But you don't trust me.”“I didn't come here to be just a hookup, and now I'm pregnant with your baby. Are you trying to make me look bad?”“You care too much about what other people think. Sara lived with Ricky before they got married, and no one judged her for it. Why should it be any different for us?”“She's Mrs. Dixon, Ryan! No one's gonna mess with her. But you ain't Mr. Dixon. What difference does it make if you're the best actor?” Gracie retorted.“I'm telling you, I ain't Ricky. I don't wanna make the same mistake he did. I can't stay away from you during your pregnancy. I don't wanna lose my kid just he did,” Ryan said, his voice tinged with anger.Sara Owen was taken aback by Ryan's outburst. Gracie and Ryan fell silent, looking at Sara's flushed face."What the hell did you just say?" Sara asked. Ryan let out a sigh, realizing he messed up."Oh, crap. Sorry, Sara. I sho
“You should not come here.”Sara Owen stood up, “Uncle, I never wanted to leave this house. I love you and Aunt Natalie more than anything in this world. You both are my family.”Bruno Dixon patted her head gently, “I know that, my child. And that’s why I am telling you that we will not force you to stay here if it makes you uncomfortable. But remember, you will always have a place in our hearts.”Sara Owen hugged him tightly, “Thank you, Uncle. I will never forget this kindness.”Bruno Dixon hugged her back, “Don’t thank me, my child. It’s my duty as a father to protect my children.”"You're making me feel uncomfortable. Ever since I married Yohan, I've become connected to the joys and sorrows of this family. I've tried my best to fulfill my responsibilities. You know, I don't come here just because Aunt insists. I come because I genuinely want to be here. This is my family.""I knew you would say that. But Neel..."Sara Owen interrupted him, "Uncle, do you think I'm scared of Neel's
"Are you sure about this?"Nolan nodded gravely. "Yes, Madam. The software of President lift is impossible to break. The technician who fixed the lift confirmed that the software had been tampered with so that you couldn't use it. And when you opted to use the staff lift, it was broken intentionally right before you were about to go in. It was clear that someone had planned to harm you.”She felt a shiver run down her spine as she thought about what could have happened if she had been in the lift when it broke down. The idea that someone was after her was terrifying. She had never felt so vulnerable before.Nolan was watching her with concern, and she could tell that he was equally disturbed by the incident. She turned to him, "Do you have any idea who could have done this?"Nolan shook his head, "I am not sure, but we are looking into it. We are checking the CCTV footage and talking to the security personnel to see if they noticed anything suspicious."Sara nodded, "Okay, keep me upd
The sun started to go down, painting the landscape with warm colors. The road was lined with trees, their leaves glowing in shades of orange and pink. It created a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The gentle breeze carried the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers, while birds chirped, adding to the tranquility. However, Sara couldn't escape the sadness weighing on her heart as she drove. She tried to find solace in the serene surroundings, but thoughts of her husband's condition kept resurfacing. The image of him injured and helpless made her feel deeply sad. She let out a deep sigh and shook her head, determined to stay focused on the present moment.During her drive, Sara noticed another car following closely behind her, and it only added to her frustration. Fear crept into her heart as the car continued tailing her. The intensity of her anxiety grew as the pursuing vehicle got closer. Her hands became sweaty as she tightly gripped the steering wheel. Despite feeling trapped, Sara summo
Sara was devastated when she saw Yohan Dixon hanging from the ceiling, his wrists tied with a hook. She tried to shout but could only whisper his name. The man's blood-soaked shirt terrified her. She couldn't help gasping seeing the bruises on his face and the wounds on his arms, realizing he had endured months of brutal torture. The sight made her feel nauseous. Her hands trembled as she gripped the ventilation window's rods, trying to calm her breathing. Tears clouded her vision, but she mustered the courage to look down at Yohan, desperately hoping to see any sign of life.Just as she was about to call out his name, the sound of the door opening grabbed her attention. Her heart pounded as two men entered the room, their laughter reverberating off the walls. Sara's anger and fear surged as she watched them approach Yohan, who hung lifelessly from the ceiling."Wow, look at this guy. He's in such bad shape!""He's barely hanging on. I mean, with all the blood he's lost, there can't b
Sara's heart raced as they ran, gasping for breath. Yohan held her wrist tightly. The sounds of their pursuers grew closer, but Yohan didn't slow down. They maneuvered through corridors and staircases. Finally, they arrived at a small window. Yohan helped boost Sara up, and she scrambled out. They had finally achieved freedom. In the forest, Sara's heart pounded as gunfire and shouting echoed behind them. She fixated on Yohan's back as he led the way. Heavily pregnant, she struggled to keep up with Yohan's pace.“Yohan,” she gasped heavily.Seeing her weakness, Yohan Dixon swiftly scooped Sara Owen into his strong arms. Sara felt a sharp pain in her lower abdomen, causing her to gasp.Sara held onto him tightly, taking in his bruised and bloodied face that marred his usual handsomeness. Resting her head against his chest, she listened to his heartbeat, a moment of solace she had longed for throughout her pregnancy. It felt like a answered prayer.Deep in the forest, Yohan spotted a sm
They found a hiding spot beneath a large rock near a small stream, far away from any medical help. Yohan searched frantically for a solution and noticed the nearby flowing water. He gathered wood sticks and used two stones to create a fire, hoping to keep Sara warm in the chilly jungle night. Carefully, he carried her and settled her into the water, supporting her in a seated position. The water provided some relief from the pain and discomfort, while the fire offered warmth.Sara's pain became unbearable, causing her to scream loudly. Yohan was concerned about the noise attracting unwanted attention, which could be dangerous for both of them. So, he gently covered her mouth, allowing her to bite him if needed. He endured the pain, focusing on ensuring a safe delivery. Placing his other hand on her stomach, he tried to feel the baby's movements, sensing that the baby was nearly ready to be born.In a hushed tone, he whispered to Sara, "Just a little longer, Sara. You're doing great. J
That night… Their first encounter…Sara recalled how Yohan had been sitting in his car, smoking and seemingly lost in his thoughts when the goons had approached her. Despite his intoxicated state, he had chased them away and rescued her. She was touched by his kindness and generosity when he offered her to stay in his private villa, which he kept off-limits even to his own family members.Without a home to live in, Sara Owen felt blessed to have found a place where she could take shelter. She had offered to serve Yohan in any way she could, in return for his kindness.Despite his gruff exterior, he had a soft spot for her, which became evident when he asked her out on a date and proposed to her. However, before Sara Owen could respond to his proposal, Yohan was kidnapped, leaving her in a state of shock and confusion. She was left wondering who had taken him and what their motives were.He was widely known as the most formidable, authoritative, and resilient figure in the world, yet i
