Miranda POV

            “Elder Morris?” I ask.  I’m confused.  This gentle man cannot be behind the attacks on the Black Shadow Pack.  He just couldn’t be.  He smiles as he comes to stand before me.  “Aren’t you going to ask me, Miranda?” he says.  “Ask you what?” I ask him cautiously.  “If I’m your daddy dearest, of course,” he says.
