Chapter 18

MY vision became blurry as I woke up and opened my eyes. There was a flashlight shining on my face. When my eyes adjusted, I saw Dani. She removed the flashlight from my face and placed it next to me without turning it off.

She helped me get up. My whole body still hurt. I looked at my wounds, which were now covered with white cloth. There was no sign of blood on my body, only on the stained clothes.

"It would be easier for you to regain your strength and heal your wounds if I did it the natural way, but I still value my life. It's difficult to anger a witch who is also a werewolf," Dani jokingly said to me.
