Both Miller and Vincent paused as their nephew pointed at the flaw. Undoubtedly, they weren’t the perfect partners in crime. In fact, it was obvious that they had almost nothing in common other than their goal of taking over Gerald's mafia clan. Still oblivious to Cedric’s act of bringing conflict to their table, the two listened to him closely.

“To be frank, I’m pretty sure Uncle Vincent is more worthy to be the successor than you, Uncle Miller,” Cedric said fraudulently.

Vincent’s eyes lightened up in contrast to Miller who was still trying to comprehend what his nephew just told. In a huff, the latter protested, “Don’t you dare to patronize these experienced men, Cedric. You're just an immature brat who doesn't know anything about the mafia world.”

“You’re wrong, Uncle.” smiled Cedric, which only fueled Miller’s confusion and anger. “Remember, you don’t share the same blood with my Dad. On the other hand, Uncle Vincent does.”
