Chapter 14:

Arista gritted her teeth, cautiously rubbing her hands as she stepped into the darkness.

Just a few steps into the dark cave, Arista felt a cold air rushing out from within, chilling her to the bone.

Better not go in than to regret it later, she thought to herself, but turning back would mean encountering the infuriated Levi. Remembering the raging flames that scorched her earlier, Arista suddenly felt an icy wind in front of her, but the darkness no longer seemed so daunting.

After all, in front of her was a chance to survive, while behind her was only a path to death.

Bravely, Arista continued forward, cautiously feeling her way with her toes before taking each step. She felt like she had walked a long way, but when she looked back, the ice cave shimmered about four yards away.
