Chapter Fourty-Seven

The next few weeks went by rather quickly.

It was the finally the first day of a new semester and both Alex and Seb were fully prepared. Having spent the past few weeks together, they had both gotten extremely used to each other’s presence.

Alex: See you at school then!

Replying Seb’s last message, Alex grabbed his backpack and headed downstairs. Ever since he got back from London, his closeness with Seb had been visibly obvious to even his aunt. Though she thought they were nothing but good platonic friends, Alex had no intention of changing her mind any time soon.

“Good morning, Aunt Carol,” announcing his presence with a greeting, Alex took a seat on the dining right opposite his cousin.

“Morning, Alex,” she replied him with the same ever cheerful voice. “Was just about to have Lucas call you. So how’s it going? Ready for a new semester? Wow, it feels like it was just yesterday you moved here.”

“Well,” he couldn’t say the same though. A lot had happened since he moved in. A
