Chapter Sixty Two

I threw a punch at Damien and my body feels like I just jumped down from a building.

The whole day was going great, it started great and when Damien took me to the backyard of the mansion for training that's when I started regretting agreeing to this whole training.

Now, I am in the middle of training and I am so exhausted I can't even tell.

Keeping my chin low, I threw another punch, but Damien blocked it with his forearm and I pulled back, looking for an opening but still not getting one.

So I closed my eyes and tried to remember the drill when I trained with Drew and his family. I created an opening by shifting my legs as if to kick and his arms dropped a fraction. I used that as my chance to swing. I slammed my fist into his hard stomach.

Damien grunted and softly said, " Nice move. Who taught you that? You diverted my mind into thinking you were going for a kick but instead you punched me in my stomach. That was very clever and smart move."

"Drew taught me." I say, like a proud
