Chapter Five

Andrew's POV:

Shit Shit Shit! What did I do? How could I be so careless? I inched closer to her and I could still smell her sweet scent. I checked her pulse. Thank God, she is alive. Her pulse is slow but she is alive. I tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. I had no choice but to take her home with me. Maybe Charlie will know what to do. I take her inside my car and tuck her carefully in. She is unconscious but still has her eyebrows in a scrunch. I hold her hand while driving. Just to check her pulse. Nothing more than that, even though it fits perfectly in my hand. I had just parked my car when Alex came outside and started yelling at me. I ignored her and carried Ana inside my bedroom. Alex is following me and when I lay her down on my bed. She has a low body temperature right now, so I take the blanket that I hardly use and tuck her under the covers. I sit down on the couch in my room.
